Ali-Cat

It's been such a LONG time since someone has asked me to take their pictures (I think my friends', Kat and Shane, engagement pics were the last ones).

I was a little tickled when my dear Kristen G. asked me to take her little girl's 18 months. Luckily, I've been practicing with my favorite subject, Lily, so I knew just where all the buttons were! :) If you take pictures for a living, please don't judge! I'm an amateur and I know it! Just thought I'd share this BEAUTY with you (with Kristen's permiso of course).

*Sigh* Someday I'll own my own Professional SLR/Digital Camera...(SANTA?)

It's the Little Things

Cherie: That was pretty funny when you kept putting your eye up really close to the camera on Skype last night.
Lily: Well, I needed to keep an eye on my Grandma.

Brianna (cousin): I used to live in Arizona.
Lily: Yeah, my daddy used to live at Home Depot.

Keith: I can feel my muscles stretch my shirt while I toss my dough.

Lily: Mommy, look at my beautiful picture I coloring.
Cherie: Yes, it is nice.
Lily: Mommy, I going to wrap it up and we can give it to Heavenly Father. Does that sound like a good idea?
Cherie: I'm sure He would love it sweetie.
Lily: I think Josef Smif will like that pretty rainbow too. Heavenly Father will show him.
Cherie: I bet he will.

Lily: Mommy, I'm going to save these animal crackers for the doggies.
Cherie: Honey, doggies don't eat animal crackers.
Lily: Listen mommy, I have to tell you that a dog is an animal, so it probably eats animal crackers.
Cherie: Perhaps, but I think it eats doggy food.
Lily: I'll just save them, okay?

Cherie: Lily, what's your favorite animal?
Lily: The map.
Cherie: The map isn't an animal.
Lily: Animal?
Cherie: You know, it has eyes, a mouth, a nose, and...(thinking of the map on Dora) never mind. What other animal do you like?...
Lily: A car.

Cherie: Sooo, was that spider a black widow?
Keith: looking at squished spider on bottom of shoe It appears the dental records were inconclusive.

Lily: Mommy, I being good. I don't throw an out-fit.

Bryce: Well, I'm off to take a shower.
Lily: Yeah you're just kinda stinky.

Lily: Squirrels gonna bite my finger and drink da milk from my boobies!

Lily: "Mommy. Be a good girl and stop cleaning and come play. RIGHT NOW."

My mom: *sigh* I wish I was happy
Ashlyn (cousin, 3 years old): *sigh* I wish I was a teddy bear.

Lily: "Oh! Sister Kahmann! Sister Kahmann Mommy? I have milk please?"

Kent: I'll be back.
Jenessa: And I'll be Mozart.

Jonathan: Go make me a sandwich woman!
Cherie: No.
Jonathan: And THAT is why you'll never get married.
