Just

We were so sure that things were going to settle down in our family.

We just bought a house.

We just moved.

We just had a baby.

And then...

We just lost a job.

But...

We will get through this.

We have eachother.

We can find something closer to our families.

I'd be lying if I said we are doing GREAT! but I can't say that we've hit the bottom of the barrel yet either (and please, please pray we don't get there). We are continually amazed at what great people have shown up in our lives to lend us hope.

The day Keith came home from his last day at work one of his coworkers, Gary, showed up on our doorstep. He came with a checkbook in hand and asked if he could write us a check. He has been a source of sanity for Keith at that job, and will be sorely missed. He has been one of several people who have reached out to be a source of help and comfort to our family right now. I am grateful for each one of them.

That first day we were worrying about what to do concerning our home. We've made three mortgage payments so far. Just three. Our realtor that sold us the home said that we kept coming to his mind over and over again that day, and so he shot us an email and just asked how we were doing before we even had a chance to contact him.

So that's that. We are putting the house back on the market in two weeks. We are doing 2 years worth of planned projects in that time, and not doing all the fun things we had planned to do to make the house our home.

We're both a little shocked at this sudden change in plans.

We're both hoping it sells soon.

We're both up to our ears in house projects.

Oh, and Lily just threw up all over our new kitchen floor (the flu on top of everything else).

So, without further ado, I've got to roll up my sleeves and get back to work now that both kiddos are in bed.
