Reminiscent of Stewart from MadTV fame, we have been hearing the following phrase in our house over and over: "Look what I can do!" followed by the most unremarkable acts of a two-year old usually involving the same "funny" face over and over again.
Tonight though, she actually came up with one that made me laugh.
Lily: Mommy look what I can do! Are you looking?
Me: I glance over and Lily puts both hands tightly over her eyes.
Me: I glance over and Lily puts both hands tightly over her eyes.
Lily:
Me: Well?
Lily: Can't you see the pretty colors Mommy? They're beautiful!
Me: *laughing* Yes they are.
(If you didn't get that, stare at the light for a minute, then put your hands over your eyes. You'll see her pretty colors too.)
