Great Bapa!

Build a Bear: the coolest store for a toddler EVER.

Great Bapa (my grandpa) came for a visit this week and it was a welcome relief from everything. He was such a sweetheart with the little ones and kept Lily entertained with books and tickles and allowing her to jump on his bed. We had fun visiting Build a Bear. Great Bapa had given her a gift certificate for her birthday and I was really excited that we could do it with him. "Pinky" bear has been by her side ever since.

"That one, no that one. This one is good. No, this one."

Warming up the baby bear's heart and giving it a kiss before putting it inside.

Pinky bear's first hug.

She was so proud to pay for it herself.

"Thanks Bapa!"

"I got it." She refused to let anyone help her carry that big box around the mall. She was so proud of her new bear.

We also had a chance to go to Silverman's Farm in Easton, Connect-i-cut. It was too cute to see how excited Lily was over the animals this year. Her idea of feeding the goats was to throw the cup at them and back up as fast as she could. Even Sawyer got into the action and was mesmerized by the chickens. He kicked and waved at them and tried to get closer.

Wow. Chickens.

We also picked an awesome pumpkin and went on a hayride.

That's a sucker, not a cigarette.

Sweet ride Lily girl.

They may not be smiling, but they are both miraculously looking at the camera.

We had fun decorating our pumpkin, Keith got out his dremmel and went to town on it and then Lily made it a graffitti pirate pumpkin with Great Bapa's help.

We loved having Great Bapa here and miss him already! Kisses and hugs to him from Connecticut!
